FAITH – SAN ANTONIO

PTSD, TBI, MEDICAL ALERT, PSYCHIATRIC

Meet Faith!!

Introducing Faith, the 60-pound wonderdog! She’s a two-year-old, spayed Black Lab who’s got it all. Seriously, she’s like the complete package. She’s up-to-date on all her shots and microchipped.

Now, let me tell you, Faith is not your ordinary dog. She’s got this amazing power to make your anxiety disappear faster than a pizza at a party. Her loving and gentle nature is like a spa treatment for your soul. Plus, she’s a pro at giving you those puppy-dog eyes that melt your heart into a puddle of goo.

But wait, there’s more! Faith is also a pro in the etiquette department. She’s house and crate trained, so you won’t find any surprise presents on your favorite rug. She’s a quiet gal indoors, but she is confident and very aware her surrounding – and yours.

When it comes to companionship, Faith is the real deal. She loves being by your side, staring deep into your eyes like she’s reading your soul. It’s almost like having a personal therapist, but with way more fur and tail wagging. Oh, and did I mention she walks like a dream on a leash? No more embarrassing tug-of-war battles in the park.

Now, here’s the fun part: training. Faith is as smart as a whip and loves treats more than anything in the world. So, teaching her new tasks will be a breeze. However, she will gladly perform the necessary tasks just for loads of praise from you.  You can have your own furry little Einstein in no time!

Okay, so Faith is good with other dogs and super friendly, but here’s the catch: she’s not really into playing. Yeah, she’s like the dog who goes to the park and sits on the bench, watching all the other dogs do their thing. So, if you’re looking for a playmate for your energetic pooch, Faith might not be the best match.

Now, who’s the perfect match for Faith? Well, she’s looking for a handler who’s at least seven years old. Yeah, she’s got a thing for more experienced humans. And listen up, this handler needs to be all about the simple life—shopping, cleaning, watering plants, taking out the trash, walking the dog, mowing the lawn, and gardening. No extreme sports or wild adventures, please. Faith’s got a medium energy level, so an apartment is totally cool as long as you’re committed to giving her multiple walks a day. Consider it your daily exercise routine with a furry twist.

So, if you’re ready to bring some Faith into your life, get in line! This lovely, laid-back Lab is waiting for her perfect match, and trust me, she’s worth every bit of puppy love you can give.

Faith’s rescue requires an application before the meeting and a signed contract with Service Dog Express.

We do not transport dogs as there are numerous dogs across the country that need a forever home and have the potential to be a Service Dog.  Our dogs have been assessed as potential Service Dogs but have not been trained yet.  That training occurs when paired with their handler.  This enhances the bond between dog and owner.
